Dinos was so clever, kind and generous. He was magnetic in any room he entered, drawing those around him through his humour, empathy and intelligence. He made it look so easy, and yet I remember how nervous he could get before a presentation or workshop. He worked hard, and didn't take his responsibility as an educator lightly, but knew that what he said mattered deeply to so many, and he was committed to saying it right, explaining it well and reaching others with his brilliant ideas. He was so inspiring, and yet one of his greatest strengths was his listening and making others feel validated and heard. He had a great sense of humour and a cheeky laugh. We even got kicked out of restaurants for being too loud with our laughter! I miss him greatly, and although I am afraid no one will ever evoke the same kind of passion in Theatre that Dinos could in me and those around him, I am soothed by the fact that his legacy will live on for a very long time, and continue to reach corners of the globe far and wide. Rest easy Dinos, you have shone so bright.
