Dinos was one of the kindest and most inspiring people I have ever met -- time spent with him was time in which you were genuinely seen and heard. In theatre and in international education, it seems normal to see people only once in awhile and to take delight in making friends and acquaintances one will only see here and there. I suppose seeing Dinos from time to time was no different, except that he was so present and so generous that it was always a moment of high mark and of meaning to me. Not seeing him will be a tremendous loss, but I am so grateful for the time however small, and times however infrequent, I have seen and counted him as a friend.
