Dearest Dinos and I met in Istanbul in 1998. It was my first ISTA event and I was a local hire artist leading a one-off workshop. Little did I know that Dinos would then be an important part of my life for the next 25 years, having a huge impact on my work, development as an artist and be my mentor as an educator. I have such fond memories of him leading us as a group of artists as we navigated our way through how we felt, what we thought and how we individually saw the world. He had such a unique way of enabling any one who worked with him to expand their ideas with ease, develop their own potential, and surprise themselves with the new way he helped us see. Thank you Dinos for everything, you will be dearly missed.
