It has taken me a little while to bring myself to visit this page as I can't quite believe that Dinos has gone. I first met Dinos in 2018 in Covent garden on an IB theatre course run by ISTA. It was my first time teaching IB and I felt like a rabbit in the headlights. Dinos took the time to sit with me in his lunch breaks and explain things to me and read over my work. I was struck by his unwavering kindness, he was so warm, patient and approachable. I was then lucky enough to be on another course led by him a few years later in 2021, this time mid Covid so via Zoom. His knowledge passion for theatre education was so inspiring that I recommended him to our senior leadership team to lead a specialised 3 day training event with our entire ARTS faculty in Singapore - which he did! Although I only knew him professionally, I was devastated to hear of his passing. He was a brilliant soul who touched our lives with his smile, infectious laughter, and profound wisdom. His presence illuminated the room, and his genuine care for others was really palpable. The world has lost a great educator, friend and role model. I would like to thank ISTA for reaching out to the wider community, and send so much love, thoughts and prayers to his close friends and family. Rest in peace Dinos.
